MAKING HEAD + BODY

Pink yarn. At first make head from top
to bottom:
1. 6 sc in MR
2. 6 inc (12)
3. (1 sc, inc)*6 (18)
4. (2 sc, inc)*6 (24)
5. Make an unfinished row of 16 sc
6. Join with the 1'st stitch by making a
sc, further crochet 15 sc (16)
7.-10. (4 rows) 16 sc
11. 8 dec (8)
Cut the yarn, stuff, pull the hole shut
and weave in the end.

3.
Making body. Begin the row with a stitch under the head:
1. 8 sc

4.
!!Please pay attention to the fact that the stitches can move due to the yarn thickness
and crochet tension, all the increases and decreases should be on the side end. Make
additional stitches if needed.

2. 3 inc, 2 sc, inc, 2 sc (12)

3. 2 sc, 3 inc, 3 sc, inc, 3 sc (16)
4. 3 sc, 3 inc, 6 sc, inc, 3 sc (20)
5. 20 sc
6. 15 sc, 2 inc, 3 sc (22)
7. 16 sc, 3 inc, 3 sc (25)
8. 18 sc, 3 inc, 4 sc (28)
9. 21 sc, tail: make a chain of 11 stitches, from the 4'th st from hook: trc, dc,
hdc, 5 sc and 7 sc alongside the body.

5
10. 6 sc, dec, 13 sc, 5 sc alongside the tail, hdc, dc, trc and move to the
other side of the tail (there might be a small hole left from sc and chain
sts, which you can sew shut at the end); 15 sc to the end of the row (43)

Make the
next sc here

11. 6 sc, dec, 15 sc, 5 dec, 10 sc (37)

12. 6 sc, dec, 10 sc, 7 dec, 5 sc (29)
13. 6 sc, dec, 7 sc, 6 dec, 2 sc (22)
14. 11 dec (11) – I skipped this row
for a dino-girl, thus she turns
shorter, as I was crocheting the
dino-boy. You can crochet in the
way you like.

6
Stuff and sew the hole shut through the front loops of the stitches, weave
in the end.

MAKING LEG
Pink yarn:
1. 6 sc in MR
2. -3. (2 rows) 6 sc
4. 2 sc, 3 sc inc x 2 times, 2 sc (10)
5. 3 sc, 3 sc inc x 4 times , 3 sc (18)
6. 18 sc
Leave a tail to attach to the body,
7. 2 dec, 12 sc, dec (15)
cut the yarn. Stuff. Pull the whole
8. 2 dec, 9 sc, dec (12)
shut and weave in the end
9. 6 dec (6) 7.
MAKING ARM
Pink yarn:
1. 6 sc in MR
2. -3. (2 rows) 6 sc
Close the whole shut with 3 slip
stitches, leave a tail to sew to the
body and brooch pin, cut the
thread. Join the parts.

8.
Attach the brooch pin.

DESIGNING THE BACK

Take a cut of wine-red yarn and make a row of back-stitches 3-5 mm
each, starting approximately from the head center to the tail, making a
false row of stitches. Cut the yarn.

9.
My dino faces right so I begin
crocheting from the head down so
that the front side is at the front.

Make a sc in the very first stitch,

next make 3 chain sts and one more
sc in the same stitch. Proceed in this
manner up to the end.

10.
Insert the eye and glue it on,
embroider the mouth and
eyebrow using a single strand of
mouline thread.

11.
Use a 3-stranded colored mouline
thread to embroider the stripes on
the belly, embellish the body with
French knots or beads.

You can add some tone to the cheek

or body: make shadows and darken
the legs and arms )))
