1. What are the possible risk if you work in electrically hazardous condition ?
Answer: Electric shocks and the burning from contact with live components are the major
threats found with electricity. Fire from defective electrical appliances or services, damage
from exposure to arcing.
2 .What are the possible side effects if you work and be exposed in loud or prolonged noise ?
Answer: Exposure to repeated or unnecessary noise has proven to cause numerous health issues
including stress, reduced attention and lack of productivity in the office, difficulty in speech and
sleep exhaustion to more extreme complications including cardiovascular disorder, cognitive
dysfunction, tinnitus, etc.
3.What are the bad effects if you work and exposed to UV and IR radiation ?
Answer: Electric shocks and the burning from contact with live components are the major threats
found with electricity. Fire from defective electrical appliances or services, damage from exposure
to arcing.
4.What are those deadly and dangerous invisible gaseous fumes that we may inhale while undertaking
welding Activities ?
Answer: Oxygen is moved into the air from gases such as oxygen, argon and carbon dioxide and can
induce suffocation, especially when soiling inside enclosed or contained environments. Carbon
monoxide gas can develop, which poses a serious risk of asphyxiation.
5.What are the welding safety precautions ?
Answer: Shock Electric
Live electrical circuits are used for forming a molten metal pool during the arc welding process.
Therefore, you are in danger of being electrically shocked while welding. Electric shock is the most
severe risk of solding which can lead, either from a direct shock or by a decrease in height after a
shock, to serious injury and fatalities. If you strike the welding or electrode circuit component at
the same time as it touches the welding wire, you are still at risk of a secondary electric shock.
6.Name the PPE to wear before engaging a welding job ?
Answer: The protective garments necessary for welding comprise overall fireproof apparel, security
glasses, shoes, gloves, helmet, leathers.
7.What is the most important thing in life before starting any work ?
Answer: Action Take
In making your dreams a reality, the first and most critical step is to act. Avoid stressing of the way
you can accomplish your objectives. Develop and begin to do a strategy. Start where you're right
now. Start what you have and develop your experience and skills on your journey. When you
decide to take steps to accomplish your aims, prospects and doors will unlock. Stop up and try
again if you fail. Know your errors and get on with it. It mightn't take weeks, months or even years
to achieve your ultimate goal - but trust you'll get there finally. The main thing here is to act.
8.What illness we may acquire when we are exposed by this welding fumes and gases ?
Answer: Longer exposure to weld fume and different forms of cancer, including lung, larynx or
urinary tract, can contribute to lung injury. Some fumes can have health effects such as metal
fumes, stomach ulcers, damage to the kidney and the nervous system.
