About 1500 years ago, in 628 A.D., a book called the Brahmasphutasiddhanta was published in
India. Over the next few hundred years, it would cause a revolution within the world of mathematics
that slowly spread across the entire world. Sixth and seventh century India was a hotbed for
scientific and mathematical innovation, and the basic numerical system that we use today developed
in this time and place.

When he was only 30 years old, he published his most famous book, the Brahmasphutasiddhanta.
In this book, he mainly focused on issues related to astronomy. He asserted that the Earth was
round and not flat, as many people still believed, and even calculated that the circumference of the
Earth was approximately 36,000 km. Today, we know that the Earth's circumference is actually
about 40,000 km, so Brahmagupta's calculations were pretty accurate!

Aryabhatta is among the mathematicians who brought new deductions and theories in

mathematics and astronomy. His contribution to the mathematics is unmatched and cannot
be ignored, as he was the one who deduced the approximate value of pi, which he found it to be
3.14. Aryabhata also did a considerable amount of work in astronomy. He knew that the earth is
rotating on an axis around the sun and the moon rotated around it. He also discovered the
position of nine planets and stated that these also revolved around the sun. He pointed out the
eclipses; both lunar and solar.

belief that we were only ever truly united. He has always been my playmate and comrade since I was a
toddler till I grew up. We are accustomed to just being together, so even if we quarrel occasionally, we
are still able to get along as siblings. This is my gorgeous, young-looking mother, who gave birth to us
through cesarean. She is my own definition of Wonder Woman since she can accomplish things that we
can't and is all-around incredible. She is the one who constantly shields me from harm and assists me
when I am in need. She was also my first instructor, teaching me to read and write before I started
school. This is my handsome, industrious father, whom I see as my super dad. My family's breadwinner
is him. Even though he is exhausted from his work, he still finds time to prepare food for us to eat. He is
also the one who is willing to fight for his family.

Speaking of my family, I grew up in a family that was simple yet happy, helpful to others, kind, and
taught me valuable life values. They usually remind us that they don't have any treasures to give us
other than education, which is immensely important both then and now. That is why I aim to finish
school as soon as possible, because apart from it is their treasure for us, but because I want to repay my
parents for all of their sacrifices for us by allowing them to enjoy a prosperous life because they deserve
it. They also imparted in us the need of respecting elders, no matter what. My parents are responsible
and exemplary, and I am extremely proud of them since they go to great lengths to ensure our life.
Having a family like them is more than enough for me, and I consider myself fortunate and blessed to
have such people like them in my life. Yes, we are not as wealthy as others, but we are wealthy in love,
unity, and real-life lessons that we can use in our lives.

Johannesburg, desmond tutu. As per him ‘’you don’t choose your family, they are god’s gift to you, as
you are to them’’. We are born to a family and we do not have the option to choose whom we
are born to! We do not have the provision to choose our parents or our siblings for that is
decided by none other than God himself. We cannot choose anyone, and only God is
actually eligible to decide who our parents would be! You need to understand that the
family you are born into is a gift to you straight away from God and thus, you should feel
