processing of mobile LTE logfiles
(LG LT1000) collected with Nemo
Outdoor 5.50
• Full feature set of Nemo Analyze
platform is immediately available
for LTE handset data processing,
including:

Task Repository (Optional in Enterprise Edition)

• Task Repository enables easy sharing and assignment of

post-processing tasks in the organization
• When analyzing a log file, point of interest in graph, map or
grid can be saved as task to the central database with couple
of mouse clicks
• Other users can see the tasks, and easily open any of the
tasks for investigation with identical view of the problem as
with the creator of the task.
• Tasks can be categorized based on area, responsible person,
status (open/closed), priority, cell name, and category
• Managing post-processing tasks in the organization has
newer been this efficient; thanks to the central database.
both the tasks, and the data are immediately accessible to
everybody in the organization

UMTS Network Settings Report

• Reports cell reselection and handover

threshold and hysteresis values from intra-
and inter-system changes
• Information is automatically gathered from
RRC signaling messages
• Useful when benchmarking network
settings with competitors
Highlight Neighborcells on the Map

• Cells on the neighbor list

of a cell can be visualized
on the map with different
color
• Requires that neighbor list
cell information is
included in the base
station reference file
Favorites in the Parameter Tree

• It is possible to add commonly used

parameters into favorites for quicker access
Value Enumeration in graph Y-axis

• Discrete, non-numeric parameters are shown with enumerations in the line graph
Y-axis, instead of the numbers
Support for Measurement File Checksum

• Nemo Outdoor writes a checksum, Hash, in the end of the file based on the whole
content of the log
• When uploading a logfile, Nemo Analyze recalculates the Hash and compares it to the
one written in the end of the logfile
• Nemo Analyze writes the Hash status into the database along with other file-specific
information
• Hash status can be seen from “Measurement file info” found from the parameter tree
• Non-valid Hash means that the measurement file content has been modified after
recording
• Hash can be used to verify the integrity of the data in the case of 3rd party data
suppliers
Fleet manager improvements (Nemo Autonomous)

• Possibility to stop measurements automatically when unit was not moving for certain time.
This feature enables to automate measurement process so that the Wanderer unit is
measuring only when moving
• Remote change of coordinates for fixed Wanderer. Possibility to change lat and lon
remotely from the Fleet Manager for Wanderer units that are in the fixed location without
GPS
• Possibility to define area when unit will not measure. Possibility to define geographical area
on the map where the Wanderer unit won’t measure while located
• Possibility to set priority for maintenance/measurements. It is possible to set priority for
maintenance over measurements, or vice versa
• Possibility to define how many times script is done in one measurement.
• Support for PESQ. Wanderer can measure voice quality using PESQ. Due to CPU intensity of
the MOS score calculation the audio samples are recorded during the measurement, and the
MOS score calculation is done in the Fleet Manager afterwards while loading the file in
• User rights per Wanderer unit. It is possible to set rights for Fleet Manager user per
Wanderer unit in the Enterprise (Client/Server environment). That is, a user may be
restricted to control and issue measurement tasks to subset of Wanderer units available in
the system
Other UI & platform improvements

• Cell id 16/28bit presentation format. It is now possible to select the presentation format of
cell identification from the SW options.
• GSM co-channel and adjacent channel analysis. Combines automatically mobile and scanner
data to show co-channel and adjacent channel inference for mobile’s traffic channels.
• Possibility to draw MapInfo polygons in regular map view. It is now possible to draw
polygons in regular map data view, where there is route data overlaid. This makes it easier to
create polygons that filter out certain part of the log file.
• MapX labels support. Added possibility to use MapX labels in geosets.
• Route colors exported to MapInfo. The color-coding of the route is now exported to
MapInfo Tab file along with the numerical data
• Distance bar on the map. Distance bar showing the scale of the map has been added to the
bottom left corner of the map window.
• Analyze autoloader can load zip files. Analyze can be configured to automatically load
zipped measurement files from certain folder, in addition to .rep, .nmf, and .dt1 files
• Linear average calculation option added for statistics. It is now possible to set average
values from dB and dBm to be calculated using linear math (convert to Watts, calculate
average, and then convert back to dB)
• Print value exported to KML. Values printed on the map can be now exported to Google
Earth along with the route.
• Recurrent events in event scheduler. It is possible to set event (load files, run report, etc) to
occur every day, every week, etc).
