SITE ANALYSIS
PROBLEM:
In terms of noise level, ergonomics, space circulation, visual aesthetics, and security, the house is comfortable. The only issue the user is having
is thermal discomfort. The cause is that solar radiation that passes through the building's openings increases solar heat gain, enveloping the house
and eventually overheating it. Plus, the heat produced by the appliances and the user's body also affects the room temperature.
SOLUTIONS:
3. Install ceramic tint house windows. It can reject up to 50% of the sun's heat while
blocking more than 99% of harmful ultraviolet light.
4. Use reflective colors on walls and roof sheets. White is the best
example. It can help to bounce off solar heat.
5. Install aluminum foil foam sheets. It is a good reflector and can block
95% of the heat radiated from the roof.
6. Installing ceiling fans can also help with air circulation because they increase the velocity of the air, this cause to quickly dispels the
internal heat.
7. Install jalousies to function as high outlets. This can help in the escape of rising internal heat generated by appliances and human bodies.
