INTRODUCTION AND IMPORTANCE
• The ocean and seas are hhuge water bodies that have lots of water.
• They are home to many sea creatures including dolphins and sharks.
• THE ATLANTIC OCEAN = The atlantic ocean lies between north and
south America on the west and Europe and Africa on the east. It
contains the most saltiest water in the world.
• THE INDIAN OCEAN = This is the third largest ocean.it si about half the
size of the pacific ocean. The red sea and Persian gulf are parts of
this ocean.
• THE ARTIC OCEAN= This is the smallest and coldest of the oceans.
Much of it is covered with floating ice. Its surface temperature never 4

Seas are smaller than oceans and are usually located where the land and the ocean
meet. Most seas are partially enclosed by land, while a few are almost completely
enclosed by land. The Caspian Sea is the only sea that is completely landlocked. There
are more than a hundred seas all around the world, each with its own characteristics.
