Title of the song 7 Years

by Lucas Graham
Lyrics of the song --- Written on the front---

Interpretation This song is very meaningful, very deep, and thought provoking and can
be interpreted in different ways based on how the listener understand
and make a meaning on it. In my own interpretation, this song is an
honest and true representation of growing up and the process of life.
He remembers his mother telling him to make friends because she had
a terminal illness and wanted him to not be lonely when she gone. His
mother always think of what is best for him.
In connection with the topic, we can see the role of the parents,
especially the role of a mother in our lives. It depicts coming of age and
realizing the meaning behind everything that our parents told us, and
that the world is different from how it was when we were child. Our
parents give the best guidance that they can, for our own good and
personal development. They instill us the values and morals to be the
better person they wanted us to be and to act in the right manner.
7 Years Once I was twenty years old, my story got told
I was writing 'bout everything, I saw before me
Lukas Graham
Once I was twenty years old
Soon we'll be thirty years old, our songs have
Once I was seven years old my momma told me been sold
Go make yourself some friends or you'll be We've traveled around the world and we're still
lonely roaming
Once I was seven years old Soon we'll be thirty years old

It was a big big world, but we thought we were I'm still learning about life
bigger My woman brought children for me
Pushing each other to the limits, we were So I can sing them all my songs
learning quicker
And I can tell them stories
By eleven smoking herb and drinking burning
Most of my boys are with me
liquor
Some are still out seeking glory
Never rich so we were out to make that steady
figure And some I had to leave behind
My brother I'm still sorry
Once I was eleven years old my daddy told me
Go get yourself a wife or you'll be lonely Soon I'll be sixty years old, my daddy got sixty-
Once I was eleven years old one
Remember life and then your life becomes a
I always had that dream like my daddy before better one
me I made a man so happy when I wrote a letter
So I started writing songs, I started writing once
stories I hope my children come and visit, once or twice
Something about that glory just always seemed a month
to bore me
'Cause only those I really love will ever really Soon I'll be sixty years old, will I think the world
know me is cold
Or will I have a lot of children who can warm me
Once I was twenty years old, my story got told Soon I'll be sixty years old
Before the morning sun, when life was lonely Soon I'll be sixty years old, will I think the world
Once I was twenty years old is cold
Or will I have a lot of children who can warm me
I only see my goals, I don't believe in failure Soon I'll be sixty years old
'Cause I know the smallest voices, they can
make it major Once I was seven years old, my momma told me
I got my boys with me at least those in favor Go make yourself some friends or you'll be
And if we don't meet before I leave, I hope I'll lonely
see you later Once I was seven years old
Once I was seven years old
