LARO NG LAHI

What I have learned?

Kids used to gather in the streets or at their neighborhood playground to

play their favorite Pinoy games years ago. This was their daily and common
pastimes, as well as our parents' and grandparents' favorite games, before new and
modern forms of entertainment technology such as computers and phones took over
children's interests. The issue arises when we completely forget about our history
and the forms and habits of our youth. It's like cutting the connection between the
past and the present by forgetting about our traditional games and failing to make an
effort to bring them to today's younger generation. This subject taught me to reflect
and be thankful for the joy I found while playing traditional games.
Filipino sports, in my view, help to bridge the generation gap between
children and their elders because they are the same games that our parents and
grandparents enjoyed. For all of the family members, the games act as a mutual
affection. Allow your children to take pleasure in playing Filipino Street Games.
Piko, tumbang preso, Chinese garter, luksong tinik, sipa, patintero, and a number of
other traditional and classic sports are among them. This are the titles that were a lot
more fun to play than the computer games. These are the most cost-effective forms
of child play that can have a positive impact on children's physical, educational,
mental, and emotional health.
