DISCUSSION ESSAY/ FOR AND AGAINST ESSAY

Đây là dạng bài cũng khá phổ biến trong kì thi IELTS. Dạng bài thường yêu cầu người viết phải trình
bày về 2 luồng quan điểm trái chiều sau đó đưa ra ý kiến cá nhân.

Dấu hiệu nhận biết: Khi xuất hiện 1 vấn đề gây tranh cãi và đưa ra câu hỏi: Discuss both views (and
give your owrn opinion)

Ví dụ với topic sau:

Nowadays animal experiments are widely used to develop new medicines and to test the safety of
other products. Some people argue that these experiments should be banned because it is morally
wrong to cause animals to suffer, while others are in favor of them because of their benefits to
humanity.
