3 Overview
The purpose of the document is to specify all the BToE-IPP system information and components
logs that required to resolves BToE problems in customer sites.

4 System Information
4.1 Audiocodes components
 BToE Version
 IPP version
 Driver version (Device Manager->System Devices->AudioCodes B2GoE USB driver)
 Device status (Device Manager->System Devices->AudioCodes B2GoE USB driver)
 Pairing mode manual/automatic

4.2 Windows components

 Windows OS
 SfB/Lync version
 SfB/Lync sign in status
 Is online user connected to Office365

4.3 Environment Topology

 Is PC connected directly to IPP
 Is switch/router connected to IPP
 What is the subnet of PC
 What is the subnet of IPP

4.4 Problem Description

 What is the exact scenario that leads to failure? And what SfB functionality used
(Presentation/Video/Type and direction of call).
 Is problem on all machines or specific machine?
 Is problem occurs after upgrade of one of the system components?
 Is problem happened constantly? Or occasionally?
 What corrective action that taken by user solve the problem?

5 System Logs
5.1 BToE Logs

5.2 Windows Logs

5.2.1 Windows Event Viewer
This relevant if the BToE component suffers from failures (Application or service).

 Windows Logs->Application
 Windows Logs->System

5.2.2 SfB/Lync Logs

 C:\Users\${CurrentUser}\Tracing

5.3 IPP Logs

 IPP syslog include the BToE component
 Network trace between the PC to IPP. This relevant if the BToE indicates about connectivity
problems between PC to IPP

o IPP Cfg: from IPP web interface: “Management->Manual Update->Configuration File:

Save Current Configuration File”
o Wireshark Capture: from IPP web interface
 Enable IPP Syslog: “Status&Diagnostics->Diagnostics->Syslog – Config:
 Set “Log Level” to ‘Basic
 Set “Log Destination” to ‘Network
 Set “Server IP Address or Host Name” to your PC running wireshark
 Keep all modules to ‘None’
Make sure to enable IPP port mirroring (Configuration-> Network Connection -> Network Settings->
Port Mirroring->Activate: Enable)
