ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY


(Reflection Paper)

Anatomy and Physiology is one of my favorite subjects in Science so far. I


got so much excitement and very curious when it comes to human life
specifically body organs of human. Anaphy is a broad and interesting subject and
I feel lucky because this course had given me chance to study it, I mean I can
read books and watch videos about it all by myself but isn't it interesting when it
is taught by your teacher and also your classmates are participating during the
discussion and you can hear all their different thoughts and ideas and secretly
compare it to yours? How does studying Anatomy and Physiology help us in our
daily life? Why do we need to study it? But first what is Anatomy and Physiology?
Anatomy and physiology are two of the most basic terms and areas of
study in the life sciences. Anatomy refers to the internal and external structures
of the body and their physical relationships, whereas physiology refers to the
study of the functions of those structures. It will give us an insight into the
complex nature of the human body and the countless different systems that
make it up. It's crucial for medicine, and through studying and working in the
field, you'll be helping to improve other people's health and wellbeing. Studying
Anatomy and Physiology also provide basic knowledge about the human body. It
helps in clearing the fundamental concepts as to how our bodies function. With
the help of the classes of anatomy and physiology, one gets to learn not only the
theoretical concepts but practical functionalities of the human body too.
This course helped me a lot in understanding how my body organ’s
function and what possible disease it may cause to me. It's fun studying Anaphy
but some of the slides in ppts are confusing because of words that is new to me
and sometimes it doesn't sink in to me because of its schedule, it's actually my
last subject during Tuesday and Thursday but it does help me understand things
that would also help me be mindful of my body and health.
