WHATIS PHYSICAL
FITNESS AND WHY IS IT
IMPORTANT?

Physical Fitness is a state of having a healthy lifestyle to ensure

healthy body. By regular exercise, eating healthy foods and
avoiding vices, you can maintain you body physically fit.

There is a test to measure or track when you are in a normal

state, this is what we called Physical Fitness Test. There are
different activities conducted in the test, from the basics which
it measuring the height and weight of a person, to the complex
activities like running, jogging, jumping jacks, and more to test
how physically fit you are. There is a table where we can see if
we are normal, under, or over, this is the Body Mass Index
(BMI).

Why is it important? Physical Fitness is important for us to

survive in this world. We have workloads to do and we
consume energy for it to finish. We consume energy based on
what we eat. We can't survive if we are not physically fit, we
have to be fit for us to gain energy to do work and provide food
for us to eat.

Why is it important to regularly measure or take physical

fitness test? It is important to check regularly our body, if we
feel uncomfortable, that is one of the signs that there is wrong
about our body. However, we can avoid this and we can
maintain out body fit by doing exercise daily, eating healthy
foods, and drink
WHAT ARE THE 3 ASPECTS
OF PHYSICAL FITNESS?
EXPLAIN EACH ASPECTS.

CARDIOREPIRATORY ENDURANCE
MUSCULAR STRENGTH AND ENDURANCE
FLEXIBILITY

A personal fitness routine's primary goal is to create a balance

between the three core aspects of physical fitness:
cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular strength and
endurance, and flexibility. Muscle imbalances, injuries, and a
lack of muscle tone can develop if you only do cardio and no
strength training. Strength training all the time, on the other
hand, may leave you buff yet breathless after climbing a flight
of steps. If you can't flex and move your body through its
complete range of motion, neither of these will benefit you.

CARDIOREPIRATORY ENDURANCE

When you workout for a long period of time, cardiorespiratory

endurance pertains to how well your heart, lungs, and muscles
work together. In this aspect you can do so much activities like
running or jogging, swimming, cycling, dancing, aerobics, and
more.
MUSCULAR STRENGTH AND ENDURANCE

The amount of force you can produce or the amount of weight

you can lift is referred to as muscular strength. The number of
times you can lift that weight without becoming weary is
referred to as muscular endurance. To avoid any implications,
we can follow the progressive style that from beginner to
complex.

FLEXIBILITY

A joint's or a set of joints' flexibility refers to its ability to move

through an unlimited, pain-free range of motion. This requires
a lot of time to exercise. We must do it daily to maintain and
have progress. It usually used in active sports especially
gymnastics, yoga, and aerobics.
