Everything we do involves time. In ancient civilizations people looked at the sun
and listened to some animals to tell time. Now we use watches, clocks and
calendars to tell and measure the passing of time.
Here is a table of time measures that we use.

*Although there are months that are more than 4 weeks and months that are more or less than 30

1. Start subtracting the smallest unit, which is

A.M stands for Latin ante meridiem, which means before noon. However, the
present interpretation of time reading, a.m. means “after midnight.” Thus, 8:00
a.m. means 8 hours after midnight.
P.M stands for Latin post meridiem, which means afternoon. So 8:00 p.m.
means 8 hours have passed since noontime.
