1. In your opinion, how do cultural norms affect a company or an organization.


People's behaviors and practices are influenced by cultural norms, which are shared
values, beliefs, and customs. Because these norms vary by region, they can have an
impact on how a company operates in an international or global market.
2. What are the eight (8) cultural styles presented in the video?
The eight (8) cultural styles presented in the video are results, caring, order, learning,
purpose, safety, enjoyment, and authority.
3. Why do different industries differ in terms of cultural styles prevalent in their field?
Organizations have different cultures, and their employees are often motivated by
various factors. Copying another company's culture won't work unless both companies
are dealing with the same issues, have a similar value structure, and have similar
employee demographics. The various beliefs, behaviors, languages, practices, and
expressions that are considered unique to members of a specific ethnicity, race, or
national origin are referred to as cultural differences. While these differences can help
to create a more vibrant workplace, they can also cause a slew of issues due to cultural
clash.
4. What is the importance of adaptation or flexibility in these types of vultures existing
in the work sector nowadays?
Adaptability is defined as the ability to make changes or modifications to oneself in
order to adapt to or suit a new environment. It means being open to new ideas,
innovations, or changes in the workplace culture. This ability allows someone to work
independently or in groups, as well as perform tasks that are not intended for a single
person.
