How does the digital world Affect the todays Generation?

Modern technology is simply an advancement of old technology. People use technology

in different ways daily to accomplish specific tasks or interests. Modern technology or evolved
technology may replace previously used technology due to its increased benefits. Academic
performance is defined by students reporting of the past semester of the student grades and their
expected average for the current semester. Technology addiction has been a growing problem in
many schools. Modern technology also poses serious health problems. But I think that there is no
significance relationship between on how long students use modern technologies and their
academic performance.

Students use modern technologies to create presentations and use the Internet to
research essays and dissertations on a variety of topics. Students also learn to take advantage of
the today they are using this to contact their schoolmates’ friends and others. The use of
technologies in our generation is a lot more if we compare it before because almost of us students,
teachers and others are relying on the internet if we have something to do specially this pandemic.
It is helpful to students because modern technologies make us more flexible so we can prioritize
on what should we need to do. Technology is the ‘in thing’ in the world today and it has become
necessary in each aspect of our lives and education has without doubt not been left behind. But I
observe that most of students who spent more time on electronic gadget use has high level of
dependency towards gadget, poor academic achievement and good health status because
students are sleep deprived nowadays since taking their eyes of their phone or laptop screen
become a near to impossible task lazier, we prefer to sitting and playing games or listening to
music instead of walking or going outdoors or perform any work which requires physical activity.

I conclude that levels of using of gadgets have a little effect on the academic performance
of the students either it is used of personal matter or in academic matter. Gadgets is a great help
not only to students but to everyone. Because technology we can use gadgets to make our life
easier. When we are doing chores, in studying and in everything. And in schools and universities
gadgets is emerging and teach all students to how to use it properly. Many students have different
gadgets to use in everyday life. There are different gadgets for every field, so you need to study
it to use it properly. Today's generation is difficult when you do not have at least one gadget
because it can provide everything you need. As a student we badly need a gadget to do our tasks,
homework, and activities. There is nothing wrong with using gadgets because especially we as a
student it helps us a lot. And it doesn't affect our grades because in fact we need it badly as a tool
in education. But there must be a limit to everything, because all too much are harmful.
