● Founded environmental justice initiative to promote public knowledge and awareness about anthropogenic causes and ecological
impacts of harmful algal blooms (HABs)
● Coordinated partnership with a student-run environmental organization in Memphis to shed light on Byhalia Pipeline
● Managed student volunteers from 3 countries and provided resources to inform their communities about HABs
● Organized petition to NJ Department of Environmental Protection to address alleviated environmental health guidelines and
garnered 60+ supporters from 9 countries to date
● Design social media posts to communicate links between HABs, racial injustice, poverty, and the climate crisis
