Shooting script
0:00 – 0:05 A clock turns on to show the
time is 2:30 in the morning.
0:06 – 0:11 We see a man lying in bed, his
eyes sunken, his expression
0:11 – 0:15 He turns over in his bed and
looks up at the ceiling, his
expression tired and weary,
the camera zooms in on his
face slowly.
0:15 – 0:18 Sat next to the man is an
ominous devilish figure smiling.
0:19 – 0:23 We see the man prepare
coffee; it swirls like a whirlpool in
his mug.

0:23 – 0:27 We see him take a sip as the

figure stands in the
background out of focus.

0:28 – 0:34 We then cut to him sat a desk,

his eye sacks look darker, he
looks like he’s drifting off to
sleep.

0:35 – 0:45 We see him jump as he realizes

he almost fell asleep, as a stack
of papers land on his desk.
0:46 – 0:50 He wipes his face as the devilish
figure sits in the background
out of focus

0:51 – 0:56 We see his tired face change in

colours as we transition to him
sat a station as he dozes off.

0:57 – 1:04 He then suddenly jumps as the

train arrives, the sounds loud
and piercing
1:05 – 1:30 For the chorus we see the
demonic figure dance as the
man sits exhausted on his
bedroom floor struggling to
sleep.
1:31 – 1:45 We see the man’s dizzy POV
as he walks from the station
1:46 – 1:53 We then cut to see him arrive
at his desk (still POV)
1:54 - 2:01 We see a montage of him
waking up suddenly,
sometimes in his bed,
sometimes in locations such as
work and the train station.
2:02 – 2:10 We see him lying in bed,
staring up at the ceiling in Dis-
contempt as he struggles to
sleep.
2:10 – 2:30 (Chorus section plays again)
2:31 – 2:40 We cut to him on his floor as
we see his eye bags (black
paint), the camera panning
along his tired body on the
floor
2:41 – 2:45 Intercut with this we see a
messy room and a turned-on
computer, knocked over

alarm clock inter cut with this

shot.
2:46 – 2:50 We see a shot of him asleep at
work, then struggling to sleep at
home

2:51 – 2:54 He stares off in an open field with

the demonic figure, enjoying the
sunset.

2:55 – 3:05 (Chorus section - shorter due to

timing)

3:06 – 3:10 He lays restless on the floor as

he stares at the ceiling.
