Problem: ROAD SAFETY

WHY WE SELECTED IT?

There can be many reasons why selected this problem.

 This is one of the major issues which our country faces; still there is no roadmap to solve
the problem which is under consideration.

 Authorities, Institutions, departments failed to address this issue, and stopped responding.

 Valuable lives of different households fade away just because of the negligence caused
by unaware individuals.

WHY WE?

 We think we have sufficient knowledge about the problem which is under consideration,
as me and other members of this report face same issues and difficulties while travelling.

 The whole group made a consensus on considering this as a major issue of our country
and everyone seem passionate to resolve it.
 The problem is aligned with our U.S.P which is (Empathy) we genuinely care about
those precious lives which were lost due to some terrible road accidents. We think we can
play our part in solving this issue probably not entirely but too some extent Yes.

EFFECT ON SOCIETY
Not only losing a human life is painful for the family but for the nation as well. Not only has it
darkened the effected household but the national economic well-being as well.

Societies consider this issue as something which only state can address, insufficient and non-
serious attitude by the state will raise hatred and polarization within the society.

EFFECT ON INDIVIDUAL
Nothing can be more damageable then losing a loved one, especially when there is no fault of
the effected party which caused death. In a country like Pakistan many households has one
bread earner which earns for the whole family, feeling unsafe while travelling pile up more
added pressure upon them.

EFFECT ON US
Since we know the betterment of the society is far greater than individual betterment,
therefore collective interest is what we seek. We live in the same society; we face the same
problem as well. Doing something today will benefit us tomorrow. Also being aware about the
problem which is under consideration ads up an extra responsibility on us to resolve this issue
which ultimately benefit our environment and people around us.
