The Nature of Historic Buildings


4rd Grade- Fall Semester 2020-2021

Introduction
This course will cover four main aspects in historic buildings
conservation; the nature of historic buildings, why historic
buildings should be conserved?, the key processes in historic
buildings conservation, and the regulations and principles in
historic buildings conservation.
This lecture will cover the nature of historic buildings, and
present historic buildings definition, historic buildings
classification and, the differences between historic building and
other building
At the end of this lecture, the students will have enough
knowledge about the nature of historic buildings.
