The Buliganay Festival was held last August 22, 2016 at Compas Grounds,
Bagacay, Tacloban City in celebrating the feast day of the patron Saint Roque with
the Unit Managers Ms. Ma. Theresa Almia and Mr. Peter Philip Calumpiano.

Each tribe showed for the title.

“My friends are my treasures.” My best quote I’ve ever made.

I’m a kind of student that makes a difference, wants something interested. I hate conflicts with someone else. To pursue the things I
want and the things I love. I don’t talk too much, but I want to share fun with others. Two years after, another chapter of my books of life began
as a high school student.

My high school life began, when the first school month strikes that year, there’s this lady that got my attention. She’s sexy, body
shape of a 12 oz. Coca Cola bottle. A killer eyes and smiles at her pink lips. An adequate height and for me, she was different among girls that I’d
ever met before.

I want to know her more. The personality she possesses and the way she interacts with other people. I wanted to be her friend. But
the main problem is that I don’t know her name. I’m nervous when she’s near, which makes my body tremble everytime I see her. I wanted to
be her friend but I’m nervous when she’s near, what’s really in her that made me interested about her?

I was a Sophomore, But nervous and fear hit me inside me. A big chance that she’ll be one of our subject teacher. I was not wrong,
she entered the classroom with a big beam in her lips. I was avoiding her eyesight to be directly point at me. It made my heart beats fast like a
running mice inside my heart. The sound of my heart beats became louder and louder and I thought that everyone can hear every beat of it.

Time passed by, the reality was written in my book. She was really different. The impression I stated was the opposite thing that she
really possesses. She’s kind hearted, the one that never gets mad easily. She’s fund of sharing stories. The way you can talk to her like she’s
your bestfriend, that you can tease jokes but the respect was still there. She knows of what you don’t and she had secrets that you want know.

She really acts as your best buddy. You can bond with her, and will ride your craziness. But most especially, she’s always a shoulder
to cry on. She gave advices to one who needs.

Teachers are not only teachers. They are our mom. Our bestfriends and sometimes our partner in crimes. Our teachers are our
friends and treasures. No one can ever change who or what they are.

 TCNHS Intramurals 2016

The Tacloban City National High School celebrated the Intramurals last
September 25-26, 2016, at TCNHS Ground, with the theme: “Through
Sportsmanship and camaraderie we will soar high.”
 The activity was participated by the TCNHS students in which they were
divided into four teams and each teams had their Unit managers.

The awarding was awarded to the winners in different sports activities

with medals, trophies, and certificates.

The following are the results garnered by each teams from the different
sports activities during the Intramurals 2016:

 Welcome back Dengue!

Virus like Dengue Virus cannot do its duty and cannot function well without a
host. Before this virus enter, first they need to be attach to a receptor site on the
plasma membrane of the host cell

Everybody knows that Dengue is a dangerous disease caused by an aedes

mosquito. This mosquito is not that just an ordinary mosquito we can find
everywhere. This mosquito carries a virus that cause high fever and more or less,
it led the victims to death.

In the year 2010-2012, the scariest disease was the dengue, because no
one knows what the cure is and where this word “dengue” came and originated
from.

But in the year 2013-2014, this issue about dengue became less heard,
because the virus from United Arab Emirates (UAE) called Ebola virus strikes the
whole world, even in the Philippines. This virus turned as a warning to all.

As of now, the latest update is about the dengue spreading out in Iloilo, one
of the places in the Philippines. Because of this, Filipinos started to panic again.

Because of this trouble, the Department of Health planned an action in

fighting and preventing the spread of dengue in certain places.
