1. INTRODUCTION

many thanks for the inquiry package for the Service / Welding of 2 pcs Aluminum Tanks
in our Zeppelin Yard in Al Jubail – 3rd Support Industry.

Zeppelin Systems Gulf will quote in this quotation for the job according to the below
technical and commercial description.

1.1 DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT

GMCo would like Zeppelin to do the welding execution for 2 pcs Aluminum Tanks according
to the attached drawings.

Zeppelin is only responsible for the welding service.

1. Welding
2. Qualified welder with welder certificates
3. Welding machines TIC
4. Welding gas
5. Welding filler
6. NDT – RT test for the weld seams - 2% of weld seams
7. All needed grinding and cutting tools
8. PQR according European Norms, no API/ASME
9. Unloading of trucks – material supply

GMCo to supply/responsibility:
1. All needed raw material in plates, bended and all welding edges beveled
2. All bending, cutting and grinding services on the raw material plates related to the job
according to Zeppelin guidance
3. Supervision and assembly of any assories to the tanks
4. Material supply to Zeppelin free of charge
5. Any required pressure tests
6. Additional material for welding tests, appr. 2 square meter for each material thickness of
the tanks
7. Pick-up at Zeppelin yard and transportation to site
8. Any needed transportation saddles for the tanks
9. Material Certificate sfor the alminum plate material
10. Detailed design drawings of the entire tanks

NOT included in Zeppelin scope is:

 any safety people like safety officer, permit receiver and so forth
 any waiting time in case we are waiting for material or any other services from
GMCo. Which is not under the responsibility of Zeppelin during the work

3. CONDITIONS OF SUPPLY

3.1. PRICE

3.2. PRICE ADJUSTMENT

The price is fixed and not adjustable, yet payments effected 12 months upon issue date of
order will be revised to maintain the economic and financial balance of the contract
according to procedures specified in item 3. Adjustments of "Annex 2 - General Conditions
of Sales”.

3.3. TAXES

Any local taxes and any fees are not considered in the quotation

3.4. DELIVERY TIME

Delivery time will appr. 5-6 weeks because of the actual Corona issues and limited welders
availability because of the borders are closed.

3.5. PLACE OF DELIVERY

EXW – ex works Zeppelin manufacturing yard – Jubail KSA (Incoterms 2020)

3.6. PAYMENT CONDITIONS

A) 50% Down payment upon receipt of raw material

B) 30% After having finished the first Tank, declaration of readiness for pick-up from
Zeppelin

C) 20% Final Payment after issue of final inspection protocol, latest three (3) months
after ex works delivery of 2nd tank

Payment terms: all payments within 30 days after date of invoice.

3.7. EXCLUSIONS

any not specifically mentioned services in this quotation are excluded from the service

any taxes or local fees which may will be charges by the government

3.8. GUARANTEE

Equipment supplied by ZEPPELIN are guaranteed against manufacture failures for a period of
12 months beginning with the installation’s take-over date or 18 months upon delivery date,
whichever occurs firstly. This warranty excludes all parts damaged due to mishandling or force
majeure.
 3.9 LIMITATION of LIABILITY

The Supplier shall in no case be liable for loss of production, loss of profit, loss of use, loss
of contracts or any other consequential or indirect loss whatsoever.

The Supplier is liable and insured for personal injury or death and damage to Buyers`
property as far as caused by him.

The total liability of the Supplier out of or in connection with the Contract for damages and
losses which are not covered by the insurance policies shall not exceed 20% of the contract
price.

The above limitation of liability is not applicable in case of wilful misconduct, gross
negligence of the Supplier or persons employed by the Supplier, personal injury, damage to
purchaser`s property and/or infringement of third parties’ intellectual property rights.

3.10 OTHER COMERCIAL CONDITIONS

3.11 VALIDITY

This quotation is none binding
