I separated the rounds for easier understanding. First there is the chart for the relevant
round and after that the photos and the written pattern (or the reading :) at the side. Follow
the instructions below.

Flower pattern
This is the chart with the crochet symbols for the flower. Looks great isn't it?
Let's divide it into steps.
We'll call this a Field Flower, so to make the foundation:
(The little dot represents the slip stitch)
Round 1: (the arrow with the number shows you where to start the round and
the number of the round)
6
Round 2: (Repeat the pattern that is in the quotation marks)
Round 3:
7
"Forget me not"
Pattern:
Rnd 2: ch1, sc 1 over the first st (of the row below), ch3, skip 1, sc 1 in next st. Repeat
pattern to end. Sl st to join round.
Rnd 3: ch1, sc 1 over the first st (of the row below), ch5, sc 1 in next chain. Repeat pattern
to end. Sl st to join round.
Rnd 4: ch1, sc 1 on the loop where you ended rnd 3. Make 9 dcs in the next chain
/loop. Sc in the next. Repeat this pattern to end. Sl st to join round.
Rnd 5: ch1, sc 1 where you ended the previous round. Ch3, dc4 tog, make a 3-ch picot, ch 3
9
and sc in the 5th st. Repeat this once more to complete the "9dcs fan" of the round below.
Repeat this pattern around. Sl st to join round.
I used a different color for each round but I believe it will be beautiful in one color only too.
Row 2: with crochet work face up, insert color B in 1st st.,ch3 (counts as the 1st dc) and dc1
again in same stitch. Dc2 in next and all remain stitches of the row (140).
Cut yarn and leave a long tail. Do not turn work. The work is already shaping up.
Row 3: with crochet work face up, insert color C in foundation row, ch10 and sl st in the 1st
st of the second row. You can skip adding the loop, which is for hanging purposes and
start crocheting right into row 2. Ch3 (counts as the 1st dc) and dc1 in the same st. Dc2 in
next and all remain stitches of the row (140).This is also optional. You can cut yarn and
weave the row 3 tail here, or sl st to get to the foundation row, cut yarn with a long tail (as I
did).
Tie all tails together
into a tight knot.

Here you can add a tassel, or string beads on the tails and tie a knot at the end to
secure the beads not to fall down once you are done.
