In Kenya communities have their own native foods, the daily foods in Kenya include different

meats, fish and vegetables eaten with cereals.


To judge Kenya’s cuisine before you leave you must try one of these dishes:

 Ugali (Cornmeal)
 Nyama Choma (Grilled Meat)
 Kachumbari (Tomato and Onion Salsa)
 Githeri (Boiled Corn and Beans)
 Chapati (Flatbread)
 Samaki (Fish)
 Pilau
 Mukimo

The two most used languages in Kenya are Swahili, around 17 million people
speak it, and English with around 2.7 milion speakers
