Aim of lesson Students are able to tell about their holiday
experience
Materials/ media  Student’s book
Introduction/ pre  Pray led by the student
 Energizer 3m
Development/ whilst  Teacher drills the “teacher’s spell” and 30m
students repeat after the teacher.
 Teacher drills the vocabulary places of
interest (A. Vocabulary builder)
 Teacher asks the students to translate (A.
vocabulary builder)
 Teacher gives an example how to make a
sentence using simple past (a.1 pattern).
Practice/ whilst  Students make an example orally one by 30m
one.
 Students reads the conversations by
repeating after the teacher (text 1).
 Students have a turn to practice the
conversation in line (left line widya right
line wulan).
Chacking for  Students analyse do the (b. Exercise 1). 10m
understanding (Daily  Teacher discusses the result together with
Evaluation) / post the sudents.
Closure/ post  Teacher asks one of the student to end the 7m
class.

Development/  Teacher drills the “teacher’s spell” and 30m
whilst students repeat after the teacher.
 Teacher plays eat bulaga game (teacher
gives a question about vocabulary of
places interest), students write on their
paper and up their answer together.
 Teacher gives 10 minutes to the students
to do matching (B. the vocabulary
builder).
 Teacher drills the students to read passage
in text 2.
 Teacher divides the students into some
groups.
Practice/ whilst  Students look for 5 difficult vocabulary 30m
with the meaning and the phonetic (how to
pronounce).
 Students present in front of the class to
share the vocabulary by leading the friends
to memorize the vocabulary.
Chacking for  Teacher asks the students about the 10m
understanding vocabulary they have heard and

and students fill the blank.
 Teacher plays the audio three times.
 Teacher correct the answers together.
Practice/ whilst  Students read per sentence of the blank 30m
text based on the teacher’s instruction.
Chacking for  Teacher gives an exercise to the students. 10m
