ASSIGNMENT 1

Students are divided into five groups (4 students per group)

Task
Each group are tasked to discuss the application of the enzyme on the selected industries and
determine FOUR (4) enzymes that are involved for each of the following industries:
Group 1: Enzymes application in animal feed
Group 2: Enzymes application in dairy products
Group 3: Enzymes application in cosmetic & personal care

Group 4: Enzymes application in medicine/pharmaceutical products

Group 5: Enzymes application in pulp & papers

1. The assignment must be presented in a recorded presentation video with a duration

time of 10-15 minutes.
2. The recorded presentation video and the pdf file of the presentation slide must be
submitted by 6th December 2021 via KALAM. Late submission results in mark
deduction (penalty).
3. The Q & A session will be conducted on 8th December 2021 during online class (2 pm
– 4 pm).
4. Contents of video presentation:
- Introduction of the selected industry and its main product.
- The enzyme application in the selected industry. Discuss at least FOUR (4)
different enzymes and their main application in the selected industry.
