Title of Proposal Research:

DETERMINING THE PREVALENCE AND FACTORS OF FOOD INSECURITY AMONG UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Problem Statement/Research Question:

1. What is the prevalence of food insecurity status among the university students?
2. What are the factors that influencing the food insecurity among the university students?

Research Objectives:

1. To examine the factors that influencing the food insecurity among the university students.
2. To evaluate the prevalence of food insecurity status among the university students.

Significant of the Study:

1. Improve the value of knowledge in academic perspectives.


2. Could adding the collaboration and knowledge in social responsibility from NGO perspective, Food Aid
Foundation has set up the MY Save Food Network.
3. Government contribution to food security programs and policies for examples Food Bank Malaysia
Programs.
4. Help the industry to propose a variation of ideas to create new programs to help those in need especially
