Questions for Interactive GHRDC Meet-Up

1) Your experience as a part of I-CELL (learning)

Answer: My experience has been quite an unexpected and yet a new and really interesting and
engaging one. With faculties who guided us for each and every activity of I-CELL, with seniors who
explained at each step the work related to events we conduct every year like, panel discussions,
guest lectures, corporate convergence, IBSAF Awards, and the core work of I-CELL i.e., running the
internship process smoothly. When we used to commit mistakes, we were still supported by our
faculties, seniors as well as the peers. For every event, the brainstorming during online meetings
conducted helped us get along quite well and also, we used to celebrate each and every event’s
success either through online call or through physical meet in small groups keeping in mind the
social distancing factors and masking initiative being followed every second, we step out of our
homes. I cherish these moments, and will keep in touch with every member, faculty I have
interacted so far. SIP Learning: Bajaj Allianz, Profit Idea, Park+, etc. 40 + companies…n almost all
students placed for internship …n few got offline placement for internship as well.

2) What value did you and IBS add throughout your MBA journey?

Answer: I am keen interest in working on presentations, making and editing video part of events,
handling people and their questions for different events/processes. So as and when I joined I-CELL, I
was handed over with similar responsibilities and also suggested and performed backend jobs during
events. As and when, we conducted events, we also took reference of other cells, clubs, about their
event structure, to get relatable ideas, and also brainstorm and come up with more unique and new
ideas that we can use to make our events and processes interactive and flow smooth. IBS has helped
me come through this way long journey, by engaging us with the seminars, sessions, and activities
organised almost every week, with faculties of IBS, with industry experts, with the views of whom I
got to understand the importance of being participative, interacting with such experts and knowing
them well, their work, and the opportunities that are lined up for us in this new normal times.

3) Do you feel connected to IBS?

Answer: Yes, I feel connected to IBS, because of the initiatives it takes to keep us engaged, and helps
us prepare well for future development and growth. At IBS, I have become more calm and
composed, improved on my weak areas, and also, keep myself participative for almost every event,
session, webinar that IBS organizes for us on weekly basis such as guest lectures with industry
experts, panel discussions on a popular and trending theme, games, singing-dancing-acting-fashion
show events taking place along with sessions being organized for our counselling, mentoring, mental
and physical well-being, and academic related queries session organized every Friday. Further, we
also have PACT session in each of our semesters, to help us get along with the preparation of
placements and thus becoming corporate ready. And thereby I really feel confident and proud of
myself as being a part of IBS.

4) Initiatives taken to make feel students connected with IBS and with your cell activities and
work?

Answer: Initiatives taken are: session, webinar that IBS organizes for us on weekly basis such as
guest lectures with industry experts, panel discussions on a popular and trending theme, games,
singing-dancing-acting-fashion show events taking place along with sessions being organized for our
counselling, mentoring, mental and physical well-being, and academic related queries session
organized every Friday. Further, we also have PACT session in each of our semesters, to help us get
along with the preparation of placements. Also, now we do get documents twice every week on our
mail id’s regarding placement preparation concepts, key terms, business and economic news which
every student is required to get through for widening their knowledge and perspective and thus
