Dear All,

Please remember that you’re welcome to post and share your ideas, thoughts, etc.,
here – on our club page.
Just like what I am doing now. I’m going to share with y’all my thought as well as my
experience on this week topic: teen dating:

Reasons why I dated a girl:

- I should be in a relationship or even engage in sexual activities just because my
friends are doing it.
- Society and platforms such as social media, even the books (stories), and the songs
we read and listen to had an effect on my thoughts of a relationship.
- I had a crush on a beauty.

Benefits of that relationship:

- Provided motivation for studying harder in school.
- Improved work ethic and overall happiness.
- Teen relationships help teens be emotionally ready to have a long-time partner and be
exposed to the real world.
- Teen relationships also help students figure out more about themselves, such as
gender identity and sexuality, and what constitutes a healthy and unhealthy relationship.

Effects on me:
- Spent all the time together, texted all day long, and cut ties with everyone except my
significant one.
- Some teenagers only focus on their partners rather than on academics.
- Being in a relationship with the wrong kind of person, with sinister intentions, can be
very damaging.

My lessons:
- “Every Jack has his Jill.” So, you should wait for your ideally suited partner, especially
when you are uncertain about what type of person you and him (or her) will become.
- “My romantic partner is a big part of my life, but they are not my world.” I wish I had
learned time management skills before being in a relationship. If all you focus on is your
partner, you will lose sight of the beautiful things around you.
