B. Ownership

Hai Ramen is a parnertship type of business that will be owned by Jenessa P.

Banghero, Princess Ghea M. Fajardo and Marjorie Ampalo, graduates of Bachelor of

Science in Business Administration major in Financial Management. The would-be

owners then running the business shall endeavor to come up with more plans and

strategies to let the business flourish, grow and succeed with profit that in due time, they

could pay their parents

C. Basic Consideration

At the very beginning of the operation, the establishment will have initial

personnel of six. To save personal services, multi-tasking will be applied, thus, the

management should be gracious enough in extending training to the employees for

purposes of proper execution of the multi-tasks nature of their work.

There will precisely be an addition of personnel when the establishment will have

its business due for expansion.

The following are the expected designation of personnel and the schedule of day-

offs and substitute.

D. Type of Operation

Hai Ramen will be a ‘Pay as you Order’ type. The customers are going to select

their orders from the frame type menu which will be placed at the counter table -- just in

front of the cashier. Food Attendants will personally serve the foods that customers

ordered. The establishment will operate twelve hours (12) hours a day, from 08:00AM –

08:00PM, seven (7) days a week.

E. Operating Policies and Practices

1. Hai Ramen will open exactly at 08:00 o’clock in the morning and be closed at

08:00 o’clock in the evening.

2. All employees must follow rules and regulations attentively.

3. All employees should wear complete uniform and observe proper grooming.

4. All employees are not allowed to use their cell phones during duty hours

except for emergencies.

5. Eating, drinking and smoking are strictly prohibited during working hours.

6. All employees must maintain cleanliness in all areas of the establishment.

7. Frequent entertaining of visitors, family and friends during working hours for

personal businesses is strictly prohibited.

8. Tardiness is strictly prohibited.

9. Filing a leave of absence should be made 3 days before.

10. Absence without proper information beforehand is a serious offense and must

dealt with by the management/manager.

11. Salaries will be given every 15th and 30th day of the month.

12. Management will provide a budget for employees’ snacks.

13. Any complaints from the customers must be attended to immediately.

14. 5S methods will be applied upon leaving the premises.

15. All transgressors of policies must be disciplined immediately.

F. Job Analysis

1. Job Description

General Manager

 Takes charge for the entire operation of the establishment.

 Implements new ideas and strategies for the improvement of the

establishment.

 Communicates and acts as a good example to the subordinates.

 Supervises the employees to do correct methods of the jobs.

 Establishes good relation to the target market.

 Sees to it that the monthly forecast is achieved.

 Acts as a liaison to the establishment and the employees.

 Gives the final decision to any suggested plans.

Assistant Manager/Cashier

 Responsible in receiving payments and issuance of receipts.

 Establishes or identifies the prizes of the products.

 Keeps the reports of any transactions.

 Deals with the customer pleasantly to ensure satisfaction.

 Greets cordially all customers.

 Assists the General Manager.

Food Attendant/ Utility Worker

 Serves the foods.

 Communicate attentively with the costumers.

 Monitors food items that are not available.

 Maintains good eye contact with the customers.

 Attends to customers’ needs.

 Cleans the tables after customers are through with their snacks.

 Maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of the snack area.

 Follows through other duties and responsibilities in the establishment.

 Cleans, mops, sweeps and dusts the floors in snack area and even in the

kitchen area.

 Observes high standard of sanitation and cleanliness of the establishment.

Cook

 Responsible in preparing the foods in exact number of items ordered by

the customers.

 Inspects supplies to ensure efficient operation.

 Monitors sanitation practices to ensure the safety of the customers.

 Checks the quality and quantity of the received supplies.

 Receives the food orders.

Assistant Cook/Dishwasher

 Substitutes the Cook in her/his absence.

 Maintains the Sanitation Standards.

 Responsible in washing the used utensils in the kitchen.

 Assists in preparing snacks ordered by the customers.

 Responsible for storage and disposal of foods.

2. Job Specification

1) General Manager

 Preferably Female.

 At least 28-35 years old.

 Must be a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration graduate.

 Must have a definite knowledge about business strategies.

 Must be responsible enough to lead his/her subordinates.

 Must be resourceful, dependable and has self-confidence.

2) Assistant Manager/Cashier

 Must be Female.

 At least 25 years old – 30 years old.

 Also, he/she must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Business

Administration.

 At least with six (6) months of experience.

 Must be responsible enough in receiving payments and issuing of the

receipts.

 Knows how to assist the General Manager in times of crises.

3) Food Attendant/ Utility Worker

 Male/Female and single.

 At least 20 – 28 years old.

 Must be a High School Graduate.

 Calm and responsible enough to deal with difficult customers.

 Must know the standard of food service to customer.

 He/she must be physically and mentally fit.

 Must be responsible and hardworking.

 Can work with less supervision

4) Cook

 Preferably Male.

 At least 25 years old and above.

 At least high school graduate.

 Must have at least 1 year experience.

 Must have Skills and techniques in cooking.

 Be able to produce high quality of service.

5) Assistant Cook

 Preferably Male.

 21 years old and above.

 At least High School Graduate.

 At least has a 6 months’ work experience.

 Must know the standard sanitation in an establishment.

 Responsible enough to do the task.
