Using non- standard units for measurements of length
Demonstrating the ability to a variety of non- standard units
of measurements length
Reference : k-12 curriculum
Materials: flash cards, realist (paper clips, pencil, ball pen, match stick, paper, neon,
folder , garter ,box …..)

Because if we don’t have
Ruler we can use other
Option such as pencil ,
Paper clip and also hands.
Correct ,because we can use the
other option aside from the measuring
tool the we all know to measure.

Draw a big tree and measured it using tooth pick / match stick, paste on the
side of the tree.
