 Traits of a successful knower:

1. Using terms and definitions that other people understand

2. Clearly and precisely define what we’re talking about, and when you can’t try to find
a way
3. Precisely define where we are wrong
4. Dogmatic comes from a word dogma (set of beliefs that no one will question) and it
is enemy to knowledge – nondogmatic we should be

5. How reliable is the source (evidence), who said it, the type of the source, where it
came from: has anyone tried to disprove it: what people that don’t agree with u
think; we need to falsify to know if it’s true
6. To figure out the agenda behind a claim
7. Does the claim subscribe to the rules of the knowledge field it is a part of?
