Tile of the Experiment

I. Objectives.

Write the objectives of the experiment given in your lab manual/data collecting sheet.

II. Introduction.

Write a brief paragraph on any part of your choice about the theoretical background of

your experiment. This may include applications, importance, or any RELATED scientific

information.

III. Apparatus.

a) Materials/Equipment.

List all materials used in the experiment given in your lab manual/data collecting

sheet.

b) Set-up.

Post a photo of the apparatus set up.

IV. Experimental Procedure.

Write the experimental procedure given in your lab manual/data collecting sheet.

V. Data and results.

Post all of your tables or any form of data collected from the experiment (graphs are

included in this part if applicable).


VI. Analysis and interpretation of data.

Discuss your data and results. You must analyze all aspects of the experiment including a

comparison between the trials and any other interpretations. All of your analysis should

be within the scope of the experiment and objective. You may include any sources of

error you in this part.

Write all references you used (textbooks, websites… etc)


 Report typing rules:

a) All parts in your report must be typed.

b) Use “Times New Roman” font for the entire report typing.

c) Headlines should be “Bold” and typed in font size “14”.

d) Use roman numeral for headlines ( I, II, III, IV, V, …. Etc)

e) Use font size “12” for the bodies shown above.

f) Use page numbering (cover page excluded).
