INTRODUCTION:

Hey Guys! Rico Salvador here and Welcome back to the Channel!

So the Xiaomi 11T series has just arrived in the Philippines. And for today’s video, we are going to take a
look and talk about the high-end model and the flagship killer called the Xiaomi 11T Pro.
GIZ GUIDE

We take a look at the recently launched Xiaomi 11T Pro with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, 120Hz
AMOLED display, and Gorilla Glass Victus.

The Xiaomi 11T series has just arrived in the Philippines. In this article, we take a look at the new high-
end model called the Xiaomi Mi 11T Pro.

To recap, it features a large 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a max
brightness of 1000 nits. Inside is the 5nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, Adreno 660, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS
3.1 storage, and a massive 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging via USB-C.

In the Philippines, the smartphone starts at PHP 27,990 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB model.

We have the device today, so let's take a look.

The Xiaomi 11T Pro is a great flagship for the Philippines, thanks to a great set of specs and features.
While it’s a bit more expensive than what fans are used to, the Xiaomi 11T Pro is a fantastic choice for
flagship hunters here in the Philippines that don’t want to spend a lot to get a lot.

WHAT’S INSIDE THE BOX!

The Xiaomi 11t Pro comes in a white box with rose gold and gray text and branding.

Inside the box, is the Xiaomi 11T Pro, documentation, silicone transparent case, SIM ejector tool,
USB Type-A to Type-C cable, and 120W charger.

There are no included earphones. The screen protector is preinstalled on the phone by the factory.

BUILD AND DESIGN

The Xiaomi 11T Pro is stunning. It has an eye-catching design and is built with a fine fit and finish. The
front panel is made of Gorilla Glass Victus protected glass. The inner frame is made of polycarbonate
while the back panel feels and sounds glasstic. Both the front and rear panels are fingerprint magnets.

The rear camera module also has a glass panel on top of the camera lenses while on top of the LED flash
and the 108MP camera branding is a glasstic panel.

The SIM tray can hold up to two nano-SIM cards. There is no microSD card slot. The SIM tray also has a
red rubber gasket which is a major component in water sealing. This means that the Xiaomi 11T Pro may
have underrated water and dust resistance.

For the design, the back of the phone curves which makes it easier to hold but the rear glasstic panel is
slippery. We recommend wearing the included silicone transparent case as soon as you get it to prevent
accidental slippage.

DISPLAY
In front, it uses a large 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1080p resolution and an extra-smooth 120Hz
refresh rate, and 1,000 nits peak brightness. It supports Dolby Vision, MEMC, P3 wide color, and is
Gorilla Glass Victus protected.

The display has slim bezels all around. Though the chin bezel is slightly thicker than the rest. There is a
punch hole on the upper part of the display.

Xiaomi claims that the display got an A+ rating from Display Mate while the stereo speakers are tuned
by Harmon Kardon and support Dolby Atmos.

On top, is the speaker grill, microphone, IR sensor, and Harman Kardon branding. When we opened the
box and saw the phone for the first time, we saw a scratch on the top part. This could be an isolated
case or a quality control issue. While at the bottom is the SIM tray, microphone, USB-C port, and the
second speaker grill.

On the left is a smooth surface while on the right side is the volume rocker and the power button that
doubles as the fingerprint scanner.

The device measures 164.1 x 76.9 x 8.8 mm and weighs 204 grams. The phone is easy to hold but is
slippery. The large camera module also protrudes so as mentioned earlier, we recommend wearing the
included silicone case.

AS OF THE MOMENT!
On paper, this is the most affordable smartphone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, Adreno 660,
LPDRR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, Harman Kardon stereo speakers, and 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast
charging.

It even features a 108MP f/1.75 main camera, 8MP f/2.2 120-degree ultra-wide camera, 5MP f/2.4
telemacro (3-7cm) with an LED flash and microphone while on the punch hole in the front is a 16MP
f/2.45 front-facing camera.

The display is great out of the box and it shows why it got an A+ rating from Display Mate.

We also noticed that there is no way to expand the internal storage. Our last concern is that the unit we
received had a scratch on the top part out of the box. We hope that his is an isolated case and is not a
quality control issue.
UNBOX PH

WHAT’S INSIDE THE BOX!

The Xiaomi 11T Pro ships in an unassuming white box, and while the brand has stripped the Mi name
from the phone, it’s still present in the packaging, albeit tucked away on the upper left side of the
packaging.

Inside the box, you’ll find the usual goodies: the phone, documentation, USB Type-C cable, silicone case,
and a big, beefy 120W fast charger.

DESIGN

The Xiaomi 11T Pro exhibits the same, premium finish and build quality that the brand’s top-tier phones
are known for, though this time around the brand has gone with a glass back that’s been treated to look
like brushed aluminum, at least for the Meteorite Gray color option we have.

The chassis has rounded corners and a curved back which makes it easier to handle, along with a rather
large camera module. The frame is made of aluminum, and overall the phone feels incredibly well built,
which isn’t surprising considering it’s Xiaomi’s flagship offering.

The only thing we don’t like with the phone is its penchant for picking up fingerprints, which it does so at
every opportunity. Smudges and prints appear almost instantly when you pick the phone up, which will
force you to use the supplied silicone case to keep the back of the phone pristine.

Probably the only thing we don’t like with the phone is the lack of proper IP resistance. Sure it’s IP53-
rated, which means it’ll survive occasional splashes or two, but if you make the mistake of dunking the
phone in water it’s unlikely to escape unscathed.

DISPLAY

The phone is rather large, thanks to the 6.67-inch, 1080 x 2400 resolution AMOLED display, protected by
Corning’s top-of-the-line Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

The display has everything you’d ask for from a feature-packed phone: 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision
capability, HDR10+, and a peak brightness of 1000 nits.

It’s one of the best displays we’ve seen on a Xiaomi phone to date, and you really can’t ask for more.

As far as audio goes, the phone has stereo sound – there’s a speaker grille on the bottom and the top of
the device, and Xiaomi proudly declares their partnership with Harman/Kardon on the top of the phone.

The Harman/Kardon partnership plus stereo audio make the Xiaomi 11T Pro one of the best sounding
phones we’ve used to date and more than makes up for the phone’s lack of a 3.5mm jack.
CAMERA

The phone’s cameras look impressive, on paper. There’s a 108-megapixel main camera that has an f/1.8
aperture lens and PDAF. There’s an 8-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide shooter, as well as a 5-megapixel f/2.4
telephoto/macro lens.

The camera samples look good though we’re a little concerned about the telephoto lens since it doesn’t
have OIS. Still, early shots look promising – we’ll have to see how the phone stands up in the camera
department in our full review.

PERFORMANCE & BATTERY

The Xiaomi 11T Pro is armed with Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 888
processor. Two variants of the Xiaomi 11T Pro will be offered in the Philippines: an 8GB/256GB variant
and a 12GB/256GB variant. Both variants do not have expandable storage.

The Xiaomi 11T Pro feels incredibly fast and fluid thanks to that flagship chipset, and is easily capable of
handling whatever game or application you want to run on it.

Along with the Snapdragon 888, the Xiaomi 11T Pro comes with Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 out of the
box. Xiaomi has committed to around three major Android updates and four years of security patches as
well, which should give the Xiaomi 11T Pro longevity for anyone that picks it up.

The phone ships with a rather large 5000mAh battery, and that’s backed up by astoundingly fast 120W
fast charging capabilities.

WRAP-UP & EARLY VERDICT

cost an arm and a leg in the Philippines. Priced at under Php 30K for both variants, it’s an incredible value –
