Scenario

For the purpose of this group work, you are acting as logistics department staffs in a
logistics company which is going to provide logistics services for clients from industrial
zones in a given province/city.

Required:

1. Describe transport infrastructure of a given province/city for available modes of

transport).

2. Suggest 3 options for multimodal transport operation of a shipment (LCL or FCL) to

and from a given province/city from/to Europe/America/Intra-Asia. (note: which specific
country is flexible depending on export goods and import goods between this province
and international markets).

3. Evaluate the impact of Covid-19 to Vietnam’s logistics industry and suggest at least 3
solutions for further improvement.

Guidelines:

1. You are required to submit a paper developing a comprehensive transportation and

logistics analysis.

Note: Regarding report submission:

- One soft copy of presentation file (PowerPoint) must be submitted on Blackboard:

1 day before the presentation date of the first group.
- One soft copy of report must be submitted on Blackboard (14th week of the course).
- One hard copy of report and PowerPoint file must be submitted in class (if off-line
study).
2. This group paper should be written in report form, double spaced, 12 font with the
preset (normal) margins. A well-researched paper should be at least 10 pages long.

3. Group presentation: start from week 9 (one or two groups/week).

4. Presenting time: 10 mins (max/each group); 10 mins for Q&A

5. Group presentation structure:
