I’m beginning my presentation now.

Dogs are the greatest and most faithful companions of man in this age. They are companions
who are not born with a tendency to betray at all. Therefore, they form a close relationship with
people. Because of these features, a large number of citizens of the UK feel comfortable
keeping dogs. But many of them keep their dogs indoors. In today's presentation, I will discuss
the pros and cons of this phenomenon.

Both humans and dogs are different types of animals. There are certain similarities between
humans and dogs as animals. For example, people cannot live alone. The same goes for dogs.
If pets are kept indoors all day, they become lazy over time. Consequently, their physical
condition gets deteriorated later and they face various kinds of sicknesses. If they are allowed to
go out, they will remain busy running around with other pets. Due to this, their physical activities
will continue and they will not become weak and lazy. Furthermore, pets need moderate
amounts of light and air to grow healthy and strong. But most of the time inside the house, not
enough light and air can enter. As a result, often their physical development does not happen.
I'm talking about another similarity of dogs with humans. Sitting or lying down for long periods of
time increases the risk of chronic health problems, such as heart disease, diabetes, and
cancers. In the same way, dogs lose their mental balance as a result of sitting at home for a
long time. As a consequence, abnormal behavior is often observed in them such as. barking
without reason. Despite being trained, throwing their wastage wherever they want, attacking
whenever they see a stranger without reason, etc. That’s why it is very important for them to go
out.

Although it is very important for dogs to have outside access, there are some downsides to
letting them roam outside at the same time. For example, pet dogs behave very differently from
other outdoor dogs. Because pets are trained by humans. And they are nurtured with excessive
care. On the other hand, the dogs that are on the streets are not trained by humans. This is why
many times they are violent. And whenever they see a pet, they attack them for no reason.
Moreover, when pet dogs get let out, due to lack of proper training they often do not understand
their eating habits. As a result, they swallow a lot of inedible food lying on the ground outside,
which causes them physical problems. Besides, if they are outside for long periods of time
during the extra heat, their bodies become dehydrated due to unbearable temperatures. And
before they can fill that gap, they get sick. Excessive heat also interferes with their normal food
digestion.

In conclusion, everything has its ups and downs. A certain activity should never be left out just
because there are some bad aspects. Perhaps, the bad aspects of any activity should be
eliminated and the focus should be on the positive sides. The same goes for raising dogs. Dogs
or any other pets should be allowed to roam outside. But care must be taken to keep them in
the garden within the boundaries of their home so that they do not mix with animals other than
pets outside. Furthermore, enough care must be taken so that they do not stay out so much that
they suffer from dehydration or other ailments during excessive temperature. Taking care of
these things will surely serve as a good direction for the development of the dog that comes out.
