School Canteen

Enhancing the bayanihan spirit into our culture, and teaching our children through
demonstrating how it is done. Brigada eskwela has been a part of each school before the
official class opening starts. It is a great reminder for everyone that without the teachers, the
parents, the students, the community and other stakeholders, the school operation can never be
possible. The school cannot stand on its own without the support of different stakeholders.
Without their provisions in the school functions, the school will struggle to survive. That is the
reason why, the school seeks for assistance of different stakeholders.

Stakeholders are encouraged to help the school in all its areas. And one of the most
important areas in the school is the school canteen. It is very important for students who stay in
school for more than eight hours a day to eat and have nutritious food for them to learn better.
Having a clean, child friendly, and safe school canteen is very ideal.

That is the reason why the improvement of the school canteen is proposed. The floor
outside the canteen is already damaged and needs to be repaired. It is prone to some accidents
and might get students into avoidable mishaps only if it is fixed.

We called and they answered. The school called for help in several individuals,
government and non-government organization. We called help in manpower and resources.
And one of the organizations who answered is the Philhealth. They answered that they will help.
They responded with
materials for the proposed
project of the brigada. KITCHEN
Then we received
their pledge. The materials
promised by the said
organization were delivered,
and the construction of the
flooring has already started.
At present, the construction
and repair of the school
canteen flooring is still
ongoing, and the school is
hoping that it will be finished
soon.
