Relevant coursework in Mechanical Engineering
Grade 12 Senior Capstone Project A- Frame Private Housing
 Although not included in my application, leaving the experiences from my Project Lead The Way
(PLTW) engineering courses out would be excluding an enormous aspect of my personality and
character development. PLTW has given me access to immeasurable learning opportunities through
real-world projects/labs daily. I have developed necessary and transportable skills from these
lessons such as problem-solving, critical, and creative thinking, and communication, that will easily
transfer to the college, post-graduate, and the business world. One of the most exciting experiences
I have had the blessing to be a part of has been my Senior Capstone project, which is currently in
progress. With the help of my four classmates and professor, we have begun to develop and test a
prototypical form of affordable, sustainable, housing to aid those affected by natural disasters
around the world. In doing so, we aim to make a real and lasting difference, improving the
situations of millions forced into homelessness or displacement after earthquakes, hurricanes,
floods, and more. All these projects are included in the tentative link below, along with my
background information, resume, and contact information.

 Every year about 14 million people are forced into homelessness due to natural disasters. While
public housing is useful there are various issues. Providing private housing in the "A-Frame Save"
would help diminish the problem of homelessness and public housing. Early development and
research have begun, updates will be added throughout the year. We hope to ultimately create some
sort of design and maybe even obtain a patent. The schedule for the project can be found below.
