Q1.) The Location of the object does not affect the characteristics if the image. As such, the
characteristics of the image formed by convex mirrors are easily predictable.

Q2.) They use a concave mirror because the image appears larger and magnified.
Q3.) Convex Security Mirrors because the reflective surface bulges outwards towards the light
source which results in a distorted image but an expanded field of view. It is this wide-angle
field of view which makes convex mirrors highly suitable for security applications in shops and
retail premises.

Q1.) In a convex mirror, if the location of the object is nearer it will become virtual and
inverted, and if the object that is placed nearer at the concave mirror, it will become real,
upright image.
Q2.) Because light rays never meet with each other, that is why it not possible for a concave
lens to form real image.
