Dear Parents and Students:

Kind Christian greetings from Eden High School. We pray this letter finds you in the best of
health and enjoying God’s richest blessings. This letter serves to inform you of the following points which
were discussed at our recent staff meeting. We are sending this information to you early because we know
that you are excited, anxious, uncertain, yet ready to begin making plans for the reopening of school. We
hope that this letter will ease your fears and will help you to prepare efficiently.

The following is a list of things we would like you to bear in mind as you plan:

1. Classes are scheduled to reopen for face-to-face instruction on Monday, January 10, 2022. Our
institution will have all protocols in place to ensure your child’s protection. All rules and
procedures will be explained in orientation on the first day of classes. School buses will be
provided by the government from the villages that had these services prior. We will be sharing
that information when it is communicated to us.
2. Hybrid learning will be used from January to June. Students will come to class two days per
week. Those two days will focus on active learning activities. The two days at home will allow
students to work on assignments and reading materials geared at enhancing learning and skills.
The schedule and rotation will be shared with you via the class chat by December 14. Rotation
one students will come to classes on Monday and Wednesday, while rotation two students will
attend on Tuesday and Thursday. Classes will commence at 7:45 am and conclude at 2:30 pm.
Students will have a morning break of 25 minutes and lunch break of 40 minutes. Meals will
be sold on campus, and this will be done following Covid protocols.
3. Students will use uniform, including the black footwear. Only one uniform is needed since
students will not come daily. Students who cannot afford to purchase uniform clothing can
check with the school counselor who has some to give away. An Eden mask will be distributed
to students on the first day of classes. Students can also use face shields if they so desire.
4. For the first semester, students will be following the same schedule they have been using for
online classes, but classes will now be 45-minute periods allowing teachers to cover more
material and provide needed assistance.
5. Students are encouraged to have all the necessary school supplies for each subject including
textbooks. However, photocopies will be provided free of cost to students who cannot afford
to buy textbooks. Students cannot share any materials due to Covid protocols, therefore a list
of essential supplies follows this message. This list is a most basic list considering only
materials that are totally needed for your child’s successful performance in all subjects.
6. Student ID and yearbook pictures will be taken the first week of classes and ID’s will be
issued soon after.
7. Students are reminded and advised to use the Christmas holidays to complete any work they
have missing from November 1 to the end of the last teaching week in December. The first
semester ends on January 28 and second semester commences on February 1. For those on
paper based, they can work on incomplete works from package 5 to 8.
8. Package 8 was delivered on December 6th. These packages should be returned on January 10,
2022, when students return to classes.

 Mrs Adelyn Gillett, a teacher, has a variety of school supplies for sale and will have these on
campus if your child needs to purchase. They are priced at least 25 cents less than A & R.
