Role of Additives - Antiblock
• Functions :- It will facilitate the extrusion process and handling
of the finished goods by reducing the problems of materials
sticking to each others.
• Types Of Antiblock:- 1) Organic 2) Inorganic .
• Grades Available :-
SR. NO. Grade Active Ingredient % LDR %
1 ANTIBLOCK AB051CP 5 % Silica 2-3 %

2 ANTIBLOCK AB06CP 5 % Organic

5 % Silica
Role of Slip Additives- BOPP
• Function:- Used for enhance the smoothness of film by reducing the
tackiness of polymer and bring out reduced COF. These are Migratory on
surface and forming lubricating layer on the film.
• Characteristics:- 1) work as a Internal Slip Agent.
2) Reduced COF.
3)Increase Throughput.
4) Reduced Film to film adhesion.
• Grades Available:-
Sr. No Grade Active Ingredient % LDR %
1 SLIP (BOPP) MB 04 6 % Slip Additives
Role of Antistatic Additives- BOPP
• Functions:- Polyolifines are by nature possess the electrical
insulation properties which gives them the potential to built up the high
static charge due to frictional heat or hot air. Antisat contains the organic
molecules which are incompatible with polymer and hence it migrates on
the surface, it provides conducting path to dissipate the electric charge.
• Characteristics:- 1) Reduced surface resistivity.
2) Reduced Dust pickup.
3) Reduced static charge.
4) Surface Resistivity 10 E10 to 10 E 12 ohms.
• Grades Available :-
Sr. No Grades Active Ingredient % LDR %
1 ANTISTATIC BOPP MB 04 12.5 % 1.5- 2.5 %

2 SLIP & ANTISTATIC MB 5 % Antistatic & 10 % Slip 1-3 %

Role of Antioxidants Additives- BOPP
• Functions:- These are high performance antioxidants design to improve
the processabiltiy , reduce thermal degradation during melt processing
and when plastic are subjected to high temperature.
• Characteristics:- 1) Reduced thermal degradation during polymer
processing.
2) Reduced Imbrittlement of Plastic.
3) Gel Minimization.
4) Prevent Yellowing of plastics.
• Grades Available:-
