So the past couple of weeks back I was in very urgent need of money so googled up some

keywords Low-interest Personal Loan sure after that some usual ads pops up on my Social
Media Handle of some Loan Apps with some small principal amount like 1000-10,000
(INR-Indian Rupee)

Example Ads But there were tons of Likes this With Different name and ads

So I downloaded one app called Asan Loan not aware of its background or how they work no
idea
Installed the call on my phone gave access to what the asked for

Location
Camera
Microphone
Contacts
Even Calendar
Call Logs

So here was the mistake of sharing my contact details with the app It took all my contact details
about 240 something
Now they have all my contact details and this was the mistake I made never share your contact
with unknown loan apps cause that’s the main critical thing they have and they can go lower and
lower to disgrace you in front of your contacts if you don’t pay back their loan
anD when I downloaded the app it asked me for my Aadhar card as an ID proof and Pan Card
two basic things and some other details like emergency contact 5 person Number I was aware
and heard of these things Loan Scam so I provided with fake numbers and name ‘
And the app tells you to click a selfie as human verification and that’s the second main point to
blackmail the victim with fake morphed pictures on the internet

I gave all the information which the asked for basic details and then it’s done and the app takes
you to the home page and after 15-30mins something my account has been credited with an
amount of 2600 (INR) I was having no idea where this money comes from cause I didn’t click on
disburse amount or anything like that on app Like other Legit Loan Apps do and then when I
open the app it shows me repayment options? The amount which I have to pay them back is
4050 Literally 2x times what they send me and within a 7 working period of time so here’s where
it get fishy they send you the amount without any consultation or how much money you asked
for and then they start texting you on WhatsApp to pay back the amount a day before yesterday
 And when you don’t pay them back they blackmail you by we will send your information to all
the contact list WhatsApp them with your name and photo about the default you made

That’s how they mentally harass you
