The principles of Laissez-Faire should be implemented to protect national economy

Do you agree or disagree to the statement?

I disagree because In a laissez-faire view, the obligation of the state is not to intervene to
stabilize the distribution of wealth or to make a country prosperous to protect its people from
poverty, but to rely on donations and the market system.

Laissez faire also stated that the government should not give special rights in business. For
example, adherents of laissez-faire support the idea that governments should not create legal
monopolies or use power and coercion to undermine de facto monopolies. Supporters of laissez-
faire also support the idea of free trade in the sense that the state is not allowed to carry out
protections, such as tariffs and subsidies, in its economic area.

So it seems that laissez faire cannot be fully practiced worldwide. The government still has the
right to intervene to protect its people, especially the underprivileged. A good economy should
not only benefit the rich, but also those who live below the poverty line.
