Adjustment Procedure:

This procedure will adjust the parking brake lever, brake valve linkage and the positive stops to
activate the switch.

1. Position the lever (22) in the lowered position with the handle down.

2. Adjust the bolt (11) so that the the ball on the switch assembly (10) is fully depressed and the
length (A) of rod (22) is vertical. Tighten the locknut (12) to 30 ± 7 N·m (22 ± 5 lb ft).
3. Position the rod (22) in the raised position.

4. Adjust the setscrew (20) until the length (A) of the rod (22) is horizontal. Turn the setscrew (20)
out one-half turn. Tighten the locknut (21) to 55 ± 10 N·m (40 ± 10 lb ft).

5. Adjust the rod ends (7) and (16), the rod (15) and the locknuts (14) to dimension (B) 153 mm (6.02
in). The spool in the valve group (17) should be fully extended.
