“A Philosophy of Life”
Throughout my life I have learned several lessons, but only few lessons are taken and used. The
majority of my leanings has come from those who have inspired me throughout my life, such as
my parents, friends, and most importantly, Jesus Christ. "Whatever thy hand finds to accomplish,
do it with all thy heart," Jesus Christ once said. This quote not only inspires me, but it also
describes how I live.
I've tripped and fell as I've grown up, but I've learnt from the majority of my life's setbacks. My
teacher had advised me to never give up when I was younger. "Quitters never win," he used to
say. This is related to Christ in that you will never succeed unless you "do it with all thy heart."
Many people in today's world are not given enough ability to thrive due to a lack of ability. I've
watched disabled people struggle to play a sport, I've seen small children try to play with adults,
and I've found myself trying to do things that are beyond my skills. We've all struggled with
similar issues. Life is a massive fight. An untalented individual can be content with the outcome
if they put out their best effort. To be a winner, you don't necessarily have to win. Give
everything you've got when you're doing anything. Some people can't handle difficulty, while
others look diversity in the eyes and appreciate what it has to give. I have always been the one to
take the challenge. If I go down, it's swinging.
Some of us are fortunate to have parents who support our choices about what we want to
accomplish with our life. Others, on the other hand, are so bound by their parents' views that life
can seem worthless to them.
I am one of the fortunate individuals that has the ability to choose my own path in life. I believe
that having the ability to choose allows me to maximize my potential while also experiencing
enjoyment. For me, happiness comes from enjoying what I do. I don't feel pressured by others
because I have the freedom to select my own path in life. I really enjoy getting to know people
and hearing about their issues.
I find happiness in the things i do because I choose to do them. It's a lot more enjoyable to be
able to choose the things you wish to participate in. There is commitment when there is passion;
when there is commitment, there is an outcome. I also hope to be able to graduate from high
school one day. Even though I'm not sure where I'm going, doing what I enjoy makes the journey
to the future worthwhile.
We must live. I believe that everyone should live his or her life to the fullest. Wouldn't it be nice
to say before you die that you have no regrets and that you are happy with how you lived your
life? Looking back, you want to believe that every second of your life was maximized and that
you had a good time. I'm hoping those are the things that run through my head when I become
older. However, now is the time for me to create those memories and live in the present.
My friends always tell me to "enjoy yourself while you're young," and I gladly accept their
advice. And now that I'm a senior in high school, it's clear to me that these are the memories I'll
cherish. I'd like to spend time with my friends and family. After all, these are the kinds of
memories I enjoy reminiscing about.
Sometimes I think to myself, "Wow, I have a boring existence," but then I start thinking about
other ways to spend my time. You can't constantly hope for something better; instead, work to
make it better! Time is valuable, and you should make the most use of it. There is always
something that will occupy your time and that you will love doing. And it is for this reason that I
believe it is important to live life to the fullest.
