The global health pandemic has undeniably changed the educational landscape. To
address the needs of learners and ensure the continued delivery of education
despite this disruption, schools have adopted various modes and delivery of learning
and approaches. One of these is the use of Learning Management System.

So what is a Learning Management System (LMS)?

A learning management system (LMS) is a software application or web-based

technology used to plan, implement and assess a specific learning process. It is
used for eLearning practices and, in its most common form, consists of two
elements: a server that performs the base functionality and a user interface that is
operated by instructors, students and administrators.

Typically, a learning management system provides an instructor with a way to create

and deliver content, monitor student participation and assess student performance.
A learning management system may also provide students with the ability to use
interactive features such as threaded discussions, video conferencing and
discussion forums.
There are a number of Learning Management System platforms which are available
and used by many educational institutions across the globe especially those
implementing flexible learning systems. Among these LMS platforms include the

content, record and measure learning data, and communicate with users.

As a software application, it may be used in different devices such as laptops,
