Incentives under Food Processing

• 100% FDI under the automatic route in food processing industries. Soft loan is extended of up to
95% of project cost

• 100% FDI is allowed through approval route for trading, including through e-commerce in
respect of food products manufactured and/or produced in India

• 100 % Tax Exemption for first 5 Years of Operation for New units in the business of processing,
preservation and packaging of fruits and vegetables

• Exemption of service tax for storage, handling and transportation of processed food
