a difference to street children
and out-of-school youth by
offering residential care,
education and skills training
programs.

Incorporated agency is under
the developmental
purposes/goals because based
on my findings, the services and
programs they offer are into
healing, teaching and caring the
abused, neglected abandoned
and alcohol substance user or
children who needs special
protection. All these services
being offered is for the
development and recovery of a
children or youth inside the
agency.
I consider Tuloy Foundation
Incorporated agency is under
developmental purposes
because as to what I have
mentioned, they offer skills
training program for children
and it was created for a goal
which is for the development of
a child and OSY.
Based on my research, CFF
 CFF offers a variety of
therapeutic services to give
child’s unique individual needs.

who are victims of war.
Individual/Group therapy,
counseling services, support
services and etc.
Preventive Purposes
According to what I have
research, the aim of this agency
is to help Filipino cope with
cancer by preventing it and
diminishing death caused by it

Children Rehabilitation Center
Philippine Cancer Society
also offer programs and services
such as parenting seminar,
livelihood training, counseling
and any family related
intervention. Also they offer
spiritual services such as group
bible studies and integration of
local churches.
Comment: This agency is
crucial to help children who are
victims of war cope with the
trauma caused by it.
Comment: With this agency, I
think it will not only prevent
people from having a cancer or
combat it as soon as people find
itself having it but also it will
serve as a support group for
cancer patients who is
undergoing treatment uplift
their hope to cope with their
situation by the help of the
encouragement and word of a
cancer survival.

3. There are different socio-civic movements which are introduced in the Philippines in the
past decades. Compare and contrast their group programs and services in the past with
those of today. (Maximum of 10 sentences) 15 pts.

Socio-civic movement in the past decades and as of this day has their common
similarity. One of their similarities is they are both established group programs and services
for the betterment of the individual or group and to help them enhance their social
functioning. Agencies back then then until now, used groups for personality development
and established to build individual character. But in the past, socio-civic movements’ group
programs and services were just only focused on the socialization and development of
individual compared today that most of the agency engage in not only for one purpose but
for several purposes such as for developmental, socialization and treatment or
rehabilitation.
