similarity. One of their similarities is they are both established group programs and services
for the betterment of the individual or group and to help them enhance their social
functioning. Agencies back then then until now, used groups for personality development
and established to build individual character. But in the past, socio-civic movements’ group
programs and services were just only focused on the socialization and development of
individual compared today that most of the agency engage in not only for one purpose but
for several purposes such as for developmental, socialization and treatment or
rehabilitation.
