Resetting a User’s Password

When you look at a user’s profile, there are 2 password fields: Password and PIN

Password is used for logging into the Webclient (you are not using this feature)

PIN is used to log into your mailbox via the telephone.

So if someone locked themselves out of their mailbox, you will update the PIN.

You can do this by changing the password in the user’s profile

OR

Reset the PIN from the main home page

The Default PIN = 000000

You may want to check to see if the user LOCKED their mailbox by too many failed attempts. You can
set the “Number of failed logins” to “0”.

Do the same for TO extension number

 - enter the FROM Hotline Index under HOTLINE

Assign new EXTENSIONS to the phone where the HOTLINEs reside

Search for the FROM phone

Select INDIVIDUAL KEYSET

Find an available LINE key and enter the FROM extension under Destination
