For 67/77 DW models, the hook must always be with filter. For 88 models, the hook must always be
without filter. For the High Power configuration, the metal hook must be chosen (without filter). Only
67/77 models can be configured to open version with thin tube/adapt

Hold the instrument between thumb and index finger. Use index finger on the other hand to gently press down till batt door is open. This procedure
must be done without touching any other part of the batt door during opening

By using a pin or tweezer, gently separate PB button and silicone cap come off together Push out the pin to separate the batt door
TOP and BOT HSG. Lift off TOP HSG. with the TOP HSG. Lift off the TGL and sili- from service module

towards sound outlet

Re-assembling: Mount the small silicone caps onto PB and TGL. Insert PB into TOP HSG with the widest side towards batt door. Add TGL/TGL lid to
the service module with the widest side towards batt door and the arrow pointing towards PB. Make sure the TOP HSG is fitted correctly into the recess
in the service module when mounting. Close out the device by opening the batt door and attaching the BOT HSG. Add small loctite 420 adhesive on
the housing joint (internal area by batt door compartment area) to seal the HSG together. Be careful not to spill glue on the external joint of the HSG.
The TGL/TGL lid can be replaced without separating the HSG parts - see next page

When changing HSG BOT, the ID plate must be transfered to new HSG. Please Place the side of the ID plate with two prong and insert it.
note the ID plate is not an available spare part. Push out the plate from inside the Insert the side with one prong last. Mount the BOT HSG and
old HSG by using a pin or tweezer other HSG parts to the HI

Open batt door and press with a small screwdriver onto the back end of the toggle until it releases

Insert new TGL or TGL lid. Press down until it clicks in place. Make sure the arrow on the
back side of the TGL/TGL lid is pointing towards the hook

Remove the hook from HI by turning coun- Insert the filter tool into the pipe and Mount the hook to the HI by turning
terclockwise. Release the filter removal tool push out the filter clockwise
from filter frame
Note: If the model is a Power version, the filter must NOT be inserted. Furthermore for the VERSO/UP High Power configuration, the metal
hook must be chosen (without filter)

Mount the thin tube adaptor to the HI by turning clockwise. Remove the “stop”.
Choose a thin tube and dome in suitable sizes and mount as shown (see part list
for available sizes tubes and domes)
Note: Thin tube option available for Milano 60/70 models only

the clip as shown. The clip is recommended to be used during test / fitting in order to keep the
prog cable connected during the complete procedure

HI Testing Doc 0202360 rev O
Use of test fixture is mandatory for all Milano BTE during DSA6000 final HI testing. To use the fixture, place the HI in the fixture according to pic.
Place it in the test chamber as shown and select the correct test tpix and make sure to follow instructions coming up on the screen. During the test
programme execution the IAD calibration will be performed at the appropriate time. Another bennefit from the fixture is that the HI is in a well defined
position so the telecoil test can be performed without any interaction from the operator
