APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE NO. 04

Series of 2021

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE RE- APPROPRIATION OF THE

UNEXPENDED BALANCE INVOLVING AN AMOUNT OF ONE MILLION SEVEN
HUNDREN THOUSAND (P1,700, 000.00) UNDER THE OFFICE OF MUNICIPAL
VICE- MAYOR, OFFICE OF THE SANGGUNIANG BAYAN, OFFICE OF THE
SECRETARY TO THE SANGGUNIAN AND OFFICE OF THE MUNICIPAL
ASSESSOR FOR FISCAL YEAR 2021 FOR THE PROVISION OF WELFARE GOODS
FOR THE PEOPLE OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF STO. NINO, CAGAYAN.

WHEREAS, the COVID-19 has gravely affected the lives of every people of this municipality
particularly the financial stability of every family;

WHEREAS, the Municipal Mayor, Atty. Vicente G. Pagurayan tasked the Local Finance
Committee to determine some of the unexpended balances which may be re-aligned to support
the essential needs of its people;

WHEREAS, the unexpended balance involving an amount of one million seven hundred
thousand pesos (P1,700,000.00) from various offices was identifies by the Municipal Budget
Officer and it was recommended to be re- appropriated in order to provide welfare goods for the
people of this municipality;

NOW THEREFORE, RESOLVED as it is HEREBY RESOLVED:

To enact the Re-Appropriation Ordinance on the regular session duly assembled;

SECTION 1. The Re- Appropriation Ordinance in the total amount of one million seven
hundred thousand pesos (P1, 700,000.00) is hereby approved.
SECTION 2. Sources of Funds. The sources of Funds for the re-appropriation in the total
amount of one million seven hundred thousand pesos (P1, 700,000. 00) shall be as follows:

SECTION 4. Separability Clause. If, for any reason, any section or provision of this Ordinance
is declared invalid or unconstitutional, other sections or provisions thereof which are not affected
thereby shall continue to be in full force and effect.

SECTION 5. Effectivity. The provisions of this Ordinance shall take effect upon approval by the
Sangguniang Panlalawigan.

Enacted this 29th day of March, 2020 at Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Sto. Nino, Cagayan.
